I hear this every single day.
And most people are asking the wrong question.
The real starting point
Before you worry about brands, flavors, or hype…
Ask this: Is it third-party tested?
If not, you’re guessing.
Why this matters
The supplement industry is full of:
- Underdosed products
- Mislabeled ingredients
- Marketing-driven formulas
That means what’s on the label… isn’t always what’s in the product.
The rule
Third-party tested first
Brand second
Look for certifications like:
- NSF Certified for Sport
- Independent lab testing
- Transparent ingredient labels
This protects:
- Your health
- Your results
- Your eligibility (for athletes)
What supplements actually matter
Once quality is handled, then look at:
- Protein → helps hit daily intake
- Creatine → improves strength + performance
- Electrolytes → support hydration + recovery
- Foundational vitamins (if needed)
That’s it.
You don’t need 20 supplements.
You need the right ones done consistently.
The biggest mistake
People chase new supplements instead of fixing:
- Nutrition
- Sleep
- Training consistency
